My TOEFL Test

        This week I took the TOEFL test, I took it last wednesday. It was just a practice but it made feel somewhat afraid, for it has difficult exercies in some academic fields such as Grammar, Writing, and listening. I spent 3 hours to complete this test, so I was a litle bite nervous.

         As many people know,the score to pass the TOEFL is at leat 450 points but in my case I got 497 points that is why I am so happy. My classmates did a good job, too. In next year, I will take another TOEFL, so I am going to do my best because I like to get as score at least 530 points. I will take it in January.

Thanksgiven Day

Last week, my classmates and I had a special celebration that was Thanksgiven Day. This celebation is the last thursday of november in The United States but
in Ave Maria-the place where I study English-People celebrate this day on Friday. By the way, we had a lots of activities such as expositions, dramas, and some games related with this day.
The day before Thursday, a woman of the embassy of The united States visited us to talk about the backgrounds of this day. The woman taught details that I did not know. Moreover, her exposition was really amazing, interesting, and fascinating. I dare to say that at leat 80 percent of my classmates liked her exposition. Know I aware about the importance of this celebration. The main point of Thanksgiven Day is that remember us give thanks to God for everything that we have such as our life and families.

About me

When I was a child, I used to be relly messy. I did not like to clean my bedroom, and I did not like to take a shower. I remenber that I liked to fight with my classmates. In fact, two times I went to the hospital, for my peers in the elementary school hit me. By the way, I did not have friends, so I spent my time alone. Yet, five years ago I had just two friends: my mon and my dad, but all changed when I was going to turn 16 years old.

I had a crash, which I almost died, but thanks to Gad, I recovered. As soon as I came back to the school, I began to change my personality and bahavior. I decidied to change my life, for I liked that people remembered to me. To day,I am utterly different. I am very neat, outgoing, and friendly. As a result, I have a lot ofmfriends, and I feel really happy with my life. Many things make sence to me.

Valentine`s Day

In this week I am going to do a lot of writing about holidays and something like that. For instance, let me tell you some details about Valentine`s Day. In almost all the world, people celebrate Valentine`s day. Every country have their way to celebrate this day. For example, in Japan, this special day occurs in February 20. People in Japan have a huge party and they exchange gifts among themselves. By other side, Nicaraguans have this day with their friends or with their couple . People usually go out to parks and restaurants.

For example, my best friend in Valentine`s Day takes to his girlfriend to a restaurant to have dinner. Moreover, traditionally men pick up to give bloom such as roses and carnations to their girlfriends or wives. Further, some men prefer to give chocolate. To illustrate, my uncle gives to his wife a delicious box of chocolate. In contrast, women have original ideas about gifts. As usual, women have a romantic idea about this day. For example, they give poems and letters that express their feelings instead of chocolate or flowers. Finally, during Valentine`s Day people can show to their couple how much they love them.

Fifth Level

    One month ago, I started  level five in Ave Maria, since then, I found   out  a lot  of thing such as new   sophisticated   words. Besides, I liked something in level 5. For example, my first speech  and second   speech. The fisrt one, it tolked about my personal information such as my name, my address, my age and something like that. The second one, it tolked about children  online. I mentioned dangers, beneficts, and the most important how  can parents protect  their children.

     Let me  tell you something, my first speech was a little bite easy because  I knew all the information,  actually information about myself. As some of my classmates  claims, it was piece of cake. Nevertheless, the second  one was more dificult  to me, for I had to do an investigation and I picked out information about my topic. Finally, I did an outline and I handed  my outline in to my teacher. To be honest , I got nervous when I was tolking about my topic in my speech. There  were at least 30  people  and everybody were looking me. I did a good job, so I got an A in my first speech.

When did I become an adult?What made me change?

 I think I became an adult one year ago. Since last year I was able to take goog decisions, and I became more responsible. Now I can take my decisions withhout parents approval. Besides, I have a job which let me pay my debts, and I can buy things that I need such as cloth, and shoes. Something that helped me change from teenager to adult was getting a job.

Two years ago, I started to work as a supervisor in a compani(carvajal y vado.) My job taught me to be more responsible, punctual, and respect a schudule. Another event that changed me was my graduation, for my parents gave more freedom. Now, I am waiting to finish my English course, so I will live alone because I am am an adult.

My School

I'm studying in Ave Maria college,I think that is the best college. Everyday the classes start at 9:20 A.M.Whole classroom have air conditioning.My classroom is on the second floor. All classroom are very clean and colorful.I don't like a classroom, because chairs are very uncomfortable.

Ave Maria College doesn't has cafeteria, but always has a small grocery. For each class almost always change the classroom. The break lunch always start at 12:00.

In Ave Maria, there is a computer laboratory, always this one is opening. But I have a problem I only type in the computers when I have free time.

about me

I live only with my mom and my two sisters. My dad doesn't live with us. My mom`s name is Mireya Estela Arias and my sisters name are Anielka end Arelith.

In my free time I like listen to music,read books end magazines. On weekend I always go out with my friends,end sometimes I go swimming,actually near my home there is a beautiful and huge lagoon. When I was in this place I have a great time.

Currently,I am studying English in Ave Maria University,this University is in Managua¿Why am I studying English? Because I guess if I study English I will have many opportunities to progress end I will have successes in my life.

Today I had a great time, because I had four quizzes and whole I get it excellent qualifications, and right now I am very happy. Last week,it was great for me, because I can pass level 1 in Ave Maria College, and next week I can start in second level.
My classmate they are very friendly, funny,and smart, but me too.My teachers they are very agree and friendly.My classroom is colorful and clean.

Yesterday Ave Maria College gave me my certificate ,and right now I am very happy.

Hola me alegra poder saludarlos nuevamente.la semana paasada participe en una capacitacion que me dieron los señores de BECA.org, tanto a mi como a otros veinte compañeros.

La capacitacion tenia como meta orientarnos muy bien en cuanto a elegir bien una carrera tecnica y un instituto adecuado que cumpla con ciertos estandares de calidad que garantizaran una enseñanza de primera caliadad.

Senti, que pude sacarle el maximo provecho a esta semana porque aprendi muchas cosas nuevas que me permitiran tener un alcance especifico acerca de la carrera que quiero elegir y finalmente encontrar un empleo en la carrera que yo qiero.

Esta semana a sido muy emocionante para mi porque me obligue a mi mismo a pensar en lo que sera mi vida en el futuro, y llegue a la conclusion que estoy un poco indeciso en cuanto a lo que quiero hacer el resto de mi vida,"es natural tu situacion", me dijeron porque estoy a las puertas de la madurez .

Me siento sumamente agradecido con la fundacion:BECA.org, por dedicarme tanto tiempo a ayudarme a pensar en mi futuro, y no solamente eso sino que me daran las herramientas que necesito para mejorar mi vida.
